Regions Bank now servicing real estate capital markets loans

Regions Bank’s Real Estate Capital Markets division is now servicing its loans, which include Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing Conventional and Small Loans, Freddie Mac Optigo Small Balance and Convention and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, according to a press release.

The portfolio is set aside particularly for multifamily, affordable housing, workforce housing, senior housing and other facilities.

“Throughout our work with clients, we never lose sight of the fact that these financing solutions support important developments, including housing communities that address the needs of many people,” Vartan Derbedrossian, fulfillment and servicing manager for Regions Real Estate Capital Markets, said in the release. “By expanding our work to including servicing, we are further strengthening life-of-loan relationships in ways that will help us meet even more needs for clients moving forward.”

The division uses SNAP to automate many of the loan processes, including origination and servicing.
